Modern Slavery Policy
Effective Date: 22/01/25
tdc is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all its business activities. We recognise that modern slavery is a violation of human rights, and we take our responsibilities seriously to ensure that our operations, as well as our suppliers and partners, comply with anti-slavery and human trafficking legislation.
Our Commitment
We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chain, operations, or the services we provide. This includes our consultancy, installation, support, and maintenance services, as well as our AV and unified communications solutions.
Supplier Expectations
We expect all our suppliers, contractors, and business partners to:
- Comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and similar local legislation.
- Have appropriate policies in place to prevent modern slavery, forced labour, and human trafficking within their own supply chains.
- Ensure that workers are treated fairly, paid correctly, and provided with safe working conditions.
Due Diligence
As part of our commitment, we will:
- Regularly assess the risk of modern slavery in our supply chain.
- Evaluate and monitor suppliers to ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards.
- Require suppliers to provide evidence of their anti-slavery policies and practices.
Employee Awareness and Training
We will provide training to our employees, especially those involved in procurement and supplier management, to raise awareness about the risks of modern slavery and how to identify and report any concerns.
Reporting Concerns
If you have any concerns about modern slavery, forced labour, or human trafficking related to our business activities or supply chain, please contact us at info@tdc-av.com. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
Review of this Policy
We will review this policy annually to ensure that it remains effective and compliant with relevant legislation.
